Book of Common Prayer It may come as a surprise to some, but the Book of Common Prayer has not remained utterly constant over the years. Besides the obvious changes in the prayers for the King or Queen and their families, a number of other relatively small changes have been made in the past + years.   This book, "The book of common prayer (BCP), and administration of the sacraments, and other rites and cermonies of the church, according to the use of The Church of England, together with the Psalter or Psalms of David, pointed as they are to be sung or said in churches;", by Church of England, is a replication of a book originally published Category: APP.

The Book of Common Prayer. The Book of Common Prayer (BCP) is a great resource for all Episcopalians. Not only does it set out the order of service for Communion (with several versions to choose from), it also has morning prayers, midday prayers, evening prayers and Compline, a service to close the day. The Book of Common Prayer is a collection of ancient and modern prayers and worship services for occasions when the community gathers and for individual use as well. It allows everyone to participate, reminding us that each person is an important part of the worship experience, whether the service is a celebration or a solemn occasion.
